Wolf Alice have had a standout two years. They were one of iTunes’ “Artists For 2014.” They hit #4 on Hype Machine. In 2015, they landed on BBC Sound’s “long list.” And they were named Best Breakthrough Artist at the UK Festival Awards. They were also listed as an “Artist to Watch” by the likes of Billboard and The Fader.
The English four-piece relased their debut EP, Blush, in 2013, with a follow up in 2014. Their debut album came a year later, in June of this year. My Love is Cool has been a success both at home, and here in the states, with lead single “Moaning Lisa Smile” charting in the top 10 on Billboard‘s Alternative Songs chart.
The band have played Festival Pier and The Troc, and now they’re set to take over Union Transfer. They’ll kick off their upcoming spring tour of the US with their UT show here in Philly on April 1st.
