Panda Bear is known to spin some psychedelic tunes with pop music. Now he has paired his equally psychedelic music with the visuals to match.
According to Consequence of Sound, the video consists of a man taking part in a one man dance battle with himself. Something about the location seems to set the man off sending him into different dimensions. Wrapped in a kaleidoscope of colors and effects, the dancer and his groovy swing seem to multiply again and again. His clothes are affected by the swirl of shapes and colors.
The video was directed by Mount Emult.
The track comes off his Crosswords EP that released in August. Panda Bear has been constantly at work since the release of his other album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper. He has since released an album of remixes and a 26-minute mix of unreleased material from the same session.
Noah Lennox aka Panda Bear, has also been hard at work with his Animal Collective bandmates working on a new album. Last month they released a 23-minutes jam “Michael, Remember”, from their first recording sessions of their 2013 EP Centipede Hz.
