The Avett Brothers have announced the release of their new album, Live, Vol. Four set to be released on Friday, December 18, 2015.
The album continues a long tradition of official concert releases that began with 2002’s Live at the Double Door Inn. This album capture’s last years New Year’s Eve where they performed in Raleigh, NC at PNC Arena on a CD and DVD combo package. The pack also includes a special edition vinyl which includes a digital download of the album when fans order the vinyl- that is set to be available early 2016.
The album includes performances of two brand new songs including, “Satan Pulls The Strings” and “Rejects in the Attic”.
Earlier this year The Avett Brothers supported The Rolling Stones for the first time when they passed through Raleigh. They also were apart of their own summer tour, but the band is back at work on their ninth full-length studio album.
