Ratatat is currently in the midst of an extensive international tour, making appearances in Mexico, Asia, Australia, and more. But by December 31st, they’ll be stateside to kick off a small US tour that thankfully will see the pair here in Philadelphia for the final date of the tour. Grab your tickets now to catch them at The Electric Factory on January 23rd.
The Brooklyn-based duo released their Magnifique LP in July of this year. Since then, they’ve been busy supporting the album, their 5th release, with a US tour and several festival gigs. Thankfully, they’ll be hitting our sitting on this upcoming round of dates.
The pair first joined forces back in 2001, after meeting at Skidmore College. They released their debut, self-titled album in 2004. That same year they also released a remix album. Their second album would come two years later, in 2006. They would release a third album in 2008 and a fourth in 2010. The band has supported the likes of Interpol, Vampire Weekend, and The Killers. But it was probably their work with hip-hop artist Kid Cudi that brought them mainstream attention. Don’t miss the guys this January when they play The Electric Factory!
