Questlove is headed home this December for another DJ set at The Foundry. The intimate-club setting is the perfect location to hear Quest, and you can grab your tickets now for his upcoming December 13th appearance.
The Roots legend is making monthly appearances at the venues, having already performed on October 11th and November 8th. And he has dubbed the event “Questlove Supreme.” Each month, he’ll bring along some special guest DJs, last month he brought out Swizzymack. And word is that Questlove has plans to bring Jazzy Jeff out for a future date.
But his upcoming DJ sets aren’t the end of Quest’s new involvement in Philly’s newest venue. He also has plans to house his 80,000-record collection at The Fillmore, in addition to two studios. He says, “We’re making this our headquarters. When Fillmore brought us in they were like, ‘We want you guys to really make this your home.'” Which shouldn’t be a difficult task for the hometown heroes. Catch Quest this upcoming December 13th!
