Bon Iver will be playing their first gigs in Asia, beginning this February. Making up for a lack of total dates (there are seven), six different countries will be included, giving fans all over the continent a chance to attend.
The band’s last LP, Bon Iver, Bon Iver, was released in 2011. Although new studio material has been halted in recent years, it may be on the horizon given their performance at Eaux Claires this July.

Frontman Justin Vernon has been featured in several recent collaborations. One in the studio with Phil Cook, the other, live in Glastonbury with Kanye West. The upcoming tour dates in Asia could introduce more new songs, signify upcoming collaborations, or set the stage for a new album next year.
At this point, it’s anyone’s guess, but it seems Bon Iver is stepping back into the limelight after several years of minimal output.
