Kat Dahlia will be performing at The Roxy Theatre on December 15. Her debut album “My Garden” was released earlier this year, which was supported by two singles, “Gangsta” and “Crazy”, as well as the iTunes’ “instant gratification” tracks, “Mirror” and “Clocks”. The album’s production and songwriting involvement includes Missy Elliott, Timbaland and Salaam Remi, among others.
“My album is a plethora of sounds, not unlike a garden of flowers,” Kat says. “You have daisies, sunflowers, willows, thorns—all evoking different emotions, expressions and meanings. I’m inviting everyone into my garden, my mind, my music.”
Without a doubt one of the hottest new artists to watch in 2015, there’s no one quite like Kat Dahlia. Her musical style has been described as being “razor sharp” lyrics and her unique, aggressive flow, citing artists BB King, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, and Celia Cruz as musical influences.
Be sure to catch Kat when she makes a stop at The Roxy Theatre next month!
