Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen performed her track “All That” with Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes in New York City’s Irving Plaza on the night of Wednesday, November 11. The two had previously performed the song together live in the same city in April, but that time it was on Saturday Night Live as mentioned by Pitchfork.
Jepsen was playing the show in the Big Apple in support of her latest album, Emotion, which she released in September. During the New York performance this week, you can see Jepsen and Hynes both getting into the song and dancing along with the tune while they perform. You can watch video of the “All That” performance below.
In addition to having actor Tom Hanks included in her music video for “I Really Like You,” she has also released a fun interactive video for the track “Run Away With Me.” The video uses emojis to let viewers in on “choose-your-own-adventure” type of experience that differs from the original video. She also released a (traditional) video for single “Your Type” recently.
Collaborations have been a big part of both Jepsen’s and Hynes’ careers lately. For example, Jepsen recently appeared on a covers album of Bleachers tracks, along with artists like Sia, Tinashe and Charli XCX. Dev Hynes, on the other hand, released an EP with bandmate Connan Mockasin called the Marfa Myths 001 EP. It contains three original songs that the two wrote and performed together while in Marfa, Texas, for the Marfa Myths Festival.
