Coathangers’ new video “Watch Your Back” was released today. The new single is from their upcoming album release, Black Lips. Black Lips, the seven inch split album is only out for a limited time and there is only a thousand copies. Suicide Squeeze is offering a pre-order option on their website for this Black Lips album.
The clip shows an ordinary band session, but this band session is unlike any other, it is a journal of sorts into the rad trips and recording sessions the band was doing to make their new album that will be released this week. “It’s a visual diary of what we have been doing for the past year – writing, playing, touring, recording and celebrating,” said the Coathangers on their album.
The all girl trio will come out with a new record next year. Fans of Coathangers can catch them on tour performing some of their songs from Black Lips. At the given moment, the Coathangers are having a jam session with Nic Jodoin from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Desert Noises for some more interesting material.
