New Jersey based indie band, Yo La Tengo has just announced the tour dates to their Winter 2016 outing.
Yo La Tengo has just announced a string of headlining tour dates for 2016 in support of their recently released Stuff Like That There. The album is a series of covers by the band from their 1990 release, Fakebook, along with some brand new originals. Yo La Tengo just finished a 2015 Fall tour with former member Dave Schramm on electric guitar in support of the 25th anniversary of Fakebook. According to Glide Magazine, A majority of the new Winter 2016 tour will have the original trio performing: Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley and James McNew. Yo La Tengo is an indie rock band that formed in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1984. Never known as a mainstream powerhouse the band has been called “the quintessential critics’ band” and has aquited a strong cult following through its career.
