Chromatics have released a video for their recent cover of the Cyndi Lauper classic, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” The band was recently asked to cover the song for a MANGO ad that features actresses Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. The commercial was released last week, and Chromatics quickly followed the ad with their own video. According to Pitchfork, the band has since released a maxi-single, which includes seven different variations of the cover. The video, which was shot at Santa Monica pier, was directed by Chromatics’ own, Johnny Jewel, and features lead-singer Ruth Redelet.
