Mumford And Sons Announce Winter 2015 And Spring 2016 Tour Dates

Mumford and Sons have just announced a U.S. leg to their immense world-wide An Arrow Through the Heart Land Tour.

British Folk/Rock band, Mumford and Sons have just announced an additional U.S. branch to their current world wide tour. An Arrow through the Heart Land Tour was originally set to take the band to places like New Zealand, Australia, the U.K., Europe, South America and South Africa. The additional U.S. leg will land the group in some the biggest cities and arenas that the U.S. has to offer. They will focus their gigs on the middle third of the country mostly below the Mason Dixon Line, according to Consequence of Sound. Shows will be in 15 different cities including Texas, Arkansas, Georgia and Tennessee. The tour will have Mumford headlining festivals such as the rookie festival, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and Lollapalooza. Tour dates and ticketing information can be
found below.

According to Rolling Stone, founding band member, Ben Lovett, had this to say about the bands tour addition.

“Touring the United States of America in many ways fulfills the childhood dream of what touring might be like,” Ben Lovett said in a statement. “Rolling from one great city to the next, each with its own personality and uniqueness whilst remaining familiar enough at the same time. Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit ‘that’ bookshop or ‘the’ ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer.”

An Arrow through the Heart Land Tour is the bands second in support of their most recent album, Wilder Mind. The album includes tracks such as the monster radio hit, “Believe.” The band has been touring all through the summer in support of the album.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
