Bloc Party is set to head the NME Awards 2016 Tour along with Drenge and Bugzy Malone.
NME has just announced the headliner for their annual Awards Tour as Bloc Party. Tbe tour will also include supporting acts such as Drenge, Ratboy, and Bugzy Malone. NME Awards Tour 2016 will kick off in Cardiff on January 29, and have several stops in places like Southampton, Bristol, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge and London. The final show will wrap the tour up on February 12 at Birmingham’s O2 Academy. For ticketing information and tour dates look below.
The tour will support Bloc Pary’s newly announced album Hymns, which is set to release on January 2016. The band has already displayed their new line-up of tracks at two of their shows during August, according to NME. This is a good indicator that a majority of this tour will include these tracks as well.
Supporting act, Drenge, have also released a new album titled Undertow , that they will be displaying in the tour.
According to NME, exclusive ticket pre-sale begins at 9am on Wednesday (November 4) at NME.com/tickets. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday (November 6).
