Electro-pop singer-songwriter Victoria Hesketh, aka Little Boots, has released the music video for her latest single “Get Things Done.” The song, released in July, is an anthem about, well, getting things done. The single is off of Little Boots’ third record titled Working Girl. The video has a retro vibe in which Little Boots is going through the motions of everyday office life. The video, directed by Nova Dando, premiered on VEVO on October 15 and has just over 6,200 views so far.
The video for “Get Things Done,” serves almost as a sequel to her previous video for “No Pressure.” Both feature Little Boots donning business-attire and living the Working Girl lifestyle. The album has a definite theme, so it will be interesting to see if she puts out another music video with a similar concept. The song is composed of the upbeat pop undertones that we are used to hearing from Little Boots, but with subtle hints of disco mixed in.
