Northlane is a metalcore band from New South Wales, Australia. They formed in 2009 and got their name from the Architects song, “North Lane.” Starting out, the band toured with artists such as August Burns Red and Parkway Drive. Currently signed to Rise Records, the group has grown to playing for international crowds and large festivals.
Their debut studio album, Discoveries, was released shortly after signing their first record deal. They have since written a total of three albums, with Node being their latest released in July of 2015. The record features their new lead vocalist, Marcus Bridge. The album reached the US Billboard 200 list and topped the Australian Albums (ARIA) chart.
With an added band member and recent new music, Northlane continues to drive old and new fans closer in their killer live performances. After playing their largest event at Download Festival, they hope to extend their tours from Europe, Asia, and South America. They will begin their North American tour with Volumes this winter.
