Georgia based duo, The Casket Girls, have released a new single titled “True Believers.” It’s a hauntingly beautiful track with little effect work and lots of raw talent. The single comes a month after the duo announced the upcoming release of their new record “The Piano Album.” The single holds true to the album title, heavily relying on the piano composition to move the listeners into feeling the exact vibe that the album will most likely take on.
The sister duo, made up of Phaedra and Elsa Greene, has been releasing tracks with an almost eerie undertone that sucks you in and leaves you wanting more. According to Phaedra and Elsa, the album is inspired by the time they’ve spent on the road and the idea of playing old piano bars and hotel lobbies. Though the duo has released two previous albums titled “Sleepwalking” and “True Love Kills The Fairytale,” they do not consider this to be there third album, but rather 2.5. As posted on their Facebook page, “…It should be noted we’re not considering this piano album our third record, rather LP 2.5. You can expect our true third record out in 2016 though! xoxo.”
It seems that the girls have some exciting things to come in 2016, so you can follow their updates on their Facebook page, here.
