Stagecoach 2016 Lineup Announced Featuring Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood And Eric Church

The Stagecoach lineup has been released with headliners Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church.

The Stagecoach Festival lineup has just been released. This year will mark a full decade that the festival has been rocking country music to fans in Indio, CA. Stagecoach is held at the Polo Club in Indio and will take place on Friday, April 29; Saturday, April 30; and Sunday, May 1, 2016. The headliners for the country music fest are power houses such as Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church. The real excitement, however, lies with who these country stars have as their supporting cast. Ripped straight out of the catalogue of rock history come John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doobie Brothers and the Marshall Tucker Band.

Other big country names to support these three headliners are Curtis Young, Sam Hunt, Emmylou Harris and more on Eric Church’s Friday kick off. Then Carrie Underwood’s Saturday will see The Band Perry, Dustin Lynch, the before mentioned, John Fogerty and many others. To close the festival on Luke Bryan’s Sunday are Little Big Town, Joe Nichols and the two previously mentioned, The Doobie Brothers and the Marshall Tucker Band. Each day will have no less than 18 acts to fill the stages with a mix of the veterans and the new artists. This will be Bryan and Church’s second year headlining the festival as they were both in the 2014 lineup. Last year’s Stagecoach featured headliners Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton.

Known as the California’s biggest country music festival, Stagecoach has been around since 2007 and started as a
mere two-day event with four stages. Although they still had names like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney and Brooks & Dunn to perform the festival it is obvious the growth that Stagecoach has had since then. There is a lot of excitement that surrounds this festival every year for country fans and this year doesn’t look any different.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
