October may have just begun, but with the current temperature dip, it makes sense to start planning ahead for winter. And what better way to spend a cold December night, than indoors at the brand new Fillmore Philly. On December 16th, you’ll definitely want to be in attendance for Dan Auerbach’s new band, The Arcs.
They guys are kicking off a world tour at the start of November, and will head our way come December in support of their debut album, Yours, Dreamily. Auerbach announced the side project in the spring of this year, and released the album on September 4th via Nonesuch Records. He’s obviously better known as the guitarist and vocalist for The Black Keys. But The Arcs’ upcoming tour is an exciting opportunity to see what else Auerbach has up his sleeve.
The band, which is made up of Auerbach, Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, and Nick Movshon, collectively wrote and recorded their debut album. They recorded the material in about two weeks. And the final product is an interesting twist on the Auerbach sound we’ve all come to know and love. Catch The Arcs this December at The Fillmore!
