Alternative rock band Killing Joke have announced tour dates for winter 2016, in both the United States and Canada.
The tour dates, which feature supporting act The Soft Moon, are in support of Killing Joke’s latest album Pylon. The album will be released via Spinefarm Records on October 23, 2015, and the tour will begin on January 14, 2016.
The band consists of five members: Jaz Coleman, Kevin “Geordie” Walker, Martin “Youth” Glover, Paul Ferguson, and Reza Udhin. The quintet formed in London in 1978 and Pylon will be their 16th studio album release, following a consistent stream of releases throughout the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. They have influenced a number of acts who followed them, including Metallica, Soundgarden and Faith No More. The group’s members have also been involved in plenty of side projects over the years, including Niceland, Pigface and Transmission. In addition, Glover worked with Spiritualized in producing their most recent album.
The winter 2016 tour will kick off in Atlanta, Georgia, in January and will end toward the end of February in Richmond, Virginia. For the full list of North American tour dates and venues, keep scrolling.
