Acclaimed singer-songwriter Glen Hansard released his new video for “McCormack’s Wall” via Paste. “McCormack’s Wall” is taken from Hansard’s latest album Didn’t He Ramble.
The video was shot in Whelan’s in Dublin with John Sheahan from The Dubliners on violin. The video really just focuses on the scenic beauty that is Dublin.
Hansard will support the new album on tour throughout North America this fall including stops at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Chicago Theatre in Chicago and the Beacon Theatre in New York City. He will be touring starting the beginning of November until the first of December.
Didn’t He Ramble was produced by Thomas Bartlett and David Odlum, whom he’s worked with both countless times before. The album was recorded in Dublin, New York, Chicago and France and is the most intimate record since his work in Once and features guest artists such as John Sheahan and Sam Beam.
