L.A.-native rock band Failure will be performing at The Regent with Trail of Dead and Local H. The band returned from a 17-year hiatus in early 2014 with a single Los Angeles date planned. The show sold out in seconds, which led to a North American tour, including a run of dates with Tool and appearances at Riot Fest, Fun Fun Fun and Cinquanta, and eventually back to the studio.
Failure is known for being both grounded in a heavy breed of pure pop and ambitious experimentalism. In 2015, the band released their first studio recording in over 18 years, the INgrooves-issued Heart Is a Monster. The album debuted at #11 in Alternative Albums, making it the highest debut of Failure’s history.
Alterative and metal fans should miss out on Failure as they make a stop at The Regent next month. It’s sure to be a memorable show!
