WATCH: YACHT Release New Video For “LA Plays Itself” That Only Plays During Uber Surge Prices

No one likes traffic on the 101 highway in Los Angeles and they certainly don’t like waiting in taxi cabs in traffic because the meter tends to run while everyone is in a stop and stall. The band, YACHT, has released video of their single “LA Plays Itself” that will play in the Uber taxi car by itself for the duration of the wait. But if the meter doubles, the the remix of the song Darq E Freaker will play until you arrive at your destination and pay the Uber fee.

The video itself is meant for passing the time as you ride along in those Uber cabs. While the meter runs and the traffic doesn’t seem to get any better, you can click on the website that will run the video and its remix if you are stuck in traffic for a much longer period of time. The new single can be found on the upcoming album by YACHT, I Thought The Future Would Be Cooler, which comes out in October of this year.
