Lush Allegedly Might Be Planning A Reunion

The rumor-has-it, legendary shoegazer’s: Lush just might be planning to get the band back together again.  That’s right you heard-it-correctly; the odds are definitely in favor of an official announcement in the near future.

Given the current resurgence of fellow Brit-rocker’s: Ride and Slowdive, both known for their shoegazing-craft during the classic 90’s era, a full-on reunion for Lush just might be in the works, after-all.

Recently, the London natives launched a brand-new website and scantily-clad Facebook page that contains a limited amount of images, but up-to-date contact information concerning their: booking agents, publicists, and manager.

To further hint toward an eventual reformation, front-lady: Emma Anderson left an enticing post on twitter yesterday:

Following the initial death of their long-time drummer, Chris Acland in 1996, the band laid-low until their official split in 1998 and each remaining member began to dabble in other creative-projects.  Bassist, Phil King is best-known for his work as a touring multi-instrumentalist for the band: The Jesus and Mary Chain.  The singer/guitarist, Mike Berenyi tried his hand as a production-editor for two prominent magazine publishers; and Emma Anderson teamed-up with singer, Lisa O’Neill to form the band called: Sing-Sing.
