In support of their critically acclaimed album Drones, Muse has announced the first list of cities of the US Leg of their tour. The cities include Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland and Oakland. More cities are to be announced later.
The band will be performing “in the round” for the first time, which means fans will be able to get a 360 degree view of the band. Muse has always been known for pushing boundaries and the Drones World Tour will be no exception. The stage is designed for the band to perform in the middle of the arena to give fans a true audio/visual experience.
Muse have released seven studio albums since their debut in 1994. They have sold over 17 million albums worldwide. Drones, the groups seventh album, topped the UK charts for two weeks in June, while simultaneously topping the USA charts. Overall the album reached No 1 in a staggering 23 countries.
Fan club pre sales will begin September 23rd and general sale will begin September 25th. Phantogram will also be opening for all the shows announced today.
