Tickets go on sale tomorrow, September 18th at noon, for a very special late show at Union Transfer. Claire Boucher, aka Grimes, will take the Union Transfer stage this fall, bringing along Nicole Dollanganger as opener. The multi-talented artist is headed out on a tour this fall in support of her upcoming album.
The Rhinestone Cowgirls Tour kicks off on October 24th. But Grimes will perform here in Philly on Saturday, November 14th. In an Instagram post, the singer explained that she had wanted to make sure her album was finished before booking her shows, leaving her with some shows that were not all ages. (FYI: the Union Transfer show is). So for those cities that missed out, Grimes will be back in the spring to play at bigger, all ages venues.
She also promised to drop some new tracks before she kicks off the upcoming tour. So definitely be on the lookout for that. The next album, her fourth, is the highly-anticipated follow up to her 2012 release Visions. A late show at Union Transfer is the perfect setting for Grimes’ music, so grab your tickets early before this one sells out!
