Warpaint‘s bassist, Jenny Lee Lindberg ventures out on her own terms this time-around with brand-new solo record entitled: right on! via Rough Trade. Due out December 11th, Lindberg’s solo-outing will be billed under the moniker: jennylee.
Helmed within the collaborative-nuance of her co-producer, Norm Block, Lindberg recorded her solo-achievment at the famed Happy Ending Studios in Silverlake, California. Lindberg carefully enlisted the talents of fellow Warpaint band-member, Stella Mozgawa on the drums and Dan Elkan(Broken Bells, Them Hills) to masterfully-craft a record fraught with goth-flourishes submerged in the realms of new-wave glee.
Special pre-orders of jennylee’s new 10-track LP, right on! come specifically-packaged with a Polaroid-picture bearing her trademark autograph and a patch.
jennylee’s band is set to accompany her November 4 while she showcases her solo-faire at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NY.
