Veteran folk-rocker, Neil Young just unveiled this year’s artist-lineup for his annual Bridge School Benefit Concert.  Setting the standard for art in the name of a good-cause, this year’s event will take place at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California this October 24th and 25th.

Originally created by Young and his now ex-wife, Pegi Young, the solely-acoustic festival will benefit the non-profit organization, The Bridge School.  The Bridge School implements assistive technology applications and life-long educational strategies in an effort to aid individuals with severe speech and physical impairments.

Beginning with the first concert in 1986, Neil Young’s highly-anticipated charitable-fixture this year will feature the gifted-talents of: indie-queen St. Vincent, singer-songwriter Ryan Adams, and veteran alt-rockers Spoon, among other heavy-hitters to round-out the festive affair.

While originally scheduled as part of the lineup-announcement, reports are uncertain whether or not grunge lords Pearl Jam will be performing at the event.

Backed by his most recent favorable collaborators featuring two of Willie Nelson’s sons, Promise of the Real, Neil Young himself will close the concert as expected with his seasoned-blend of folk/Americana crooning.

Tickets for the benefit will be made available to the public Friday, September 18th.
