The Melvins are making a movie. In 2012, the band was tying to make a record in the US of their tour that year, now The Melvins have decided to make a movie. The movie, Across The USA in 51 Days: The Movie!, is about the bands attempt to tour the states in only 51 days. The movie will be released in November of this year.

The 51 day tour started in Alaska and then finished in Hawaii. This attempt at making a world record seems pretty crazy but for the band, crazy is their thing. “We figured it was time for us to do something REALLY crazy,” Buzz Osborne said.

The Melvins documented the outtakes and footage on Spin while also working on the DVD before its release. The band has also scheduled two dates in October for some Los Angeles shows.
