After announcing their Fall 2015 tour dates, eclectic trio Kylesa have given us a new track to get excited about called “Night Drive”.
From psychedelic rock to a more metal sound, the trio hails from Savannah, Georgia and definitely stand out as musicians with their ability to experiment with their sound. In “Night Drive”, the rhythm is driving the song to some incredible high points. Each instrument stands out, whether it’s the drums or the killer guitar riffs. Kylesa is sure to make their music rise above the traditional sound of a genre, instead taking bits and pieces to make a really epic new song.
“Night Drive” is set to be released off Kylesa’s new album Exhausting Fire, release set for October 2nd.
When describing the new track, SPIN said the following:
like Southern Rock left out to rot, then resurrected right at full moon.
If that doesn’t urge you to check out the unique southern rock/metal group, then take their recent success in festivals such as SXSW. There’s no doubt Kylesa has a killer sound that people are absolutely dying for, and this is very distinct in “Night Drive” – a track surely not to be missed.
