Zola Jesus has unveiled a new previously unreleased song, “Circles,” which will appear on her upcoming digital EP, Nail.
This new song comes on the heels of the music video for “Nail,” which was released in August. It featured Nika Roza Danilova, the woman behind Zola Jesus, performing the song from a bed, which deprives her of sensory perception.
“Circles” is a song with an atmospheric quality. The song starts off with a crushing and multi-layered drum line, which is one of the focal points within the track. The other standout portion of this unreleased song is found in the vocals. “Circles” provides Danilova with the ability to show off a portion of her vocal range, with special attention paid to her lower register.

Zola Jesus will release “Circles,” as a part of the digital EP that features the single “Nail,” which was taken from her album TAIGA, along with Xanopticon’s remix of “Go” on September 18th, 2015, via Mute.
