Mac Miller is an American rapper from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His early work includes a variety of mixtapes released when he was only a teenager. Whether you know him under his pseudonym Larry Fisherman or Larry Lovestein, Miller has been climbing to the top of the rap industry since being signed at the young age of 18. He soon began work with Wiz Khalifa to release his music from K.I.D.S. in 2010. He rose to fame during his first tour, the Incredibly Dope Tour, which sold out in every city he visited.
Miller’s debut album, Blue Slide Park, gained massive attention nationwide as it also reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. With popular songs such as “Frick Park Market” and “Party on Fifth Ave,” the record sold over 145,000 copies in it’s first week. His second album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off, features artists such as Tyler the Creator, Action Bronson, and Earl Sweatshirt. The rapper will release his latest work, GO:OD AM, on September 18th.
Miller will bring Canada’s own Tory Lanez as support on his tour. The recently recruited rapper has produced three mixtapes within the past two years. “My whole goal isn’t to draw inspiration from particular people, but rather good music in all forms.” he says. His debut album is set to release later in 2016. The two will begin playing shows across the country through the GO:OD AM Tour this fall.
