Girlpool has released a video for their single “Pretty,” from their album Before The World Was Big.
The video is related to the themes of their album, Before The World Was Big, in the forms of growing friendship and interaction between identity and environment. The video like all other videos for three of the singles they released talks about growing pains and questions about life, relationships, friends, and just natural thoughts about growing up. It is common to feel like your friendships come and go as well as the people in your life to just revolve through a door that won’t stop swinging. But these two girls are curious as to what they want to do to keep the friendship going strong while battling the affairs of love and growth in both the emotional and physical aspect.
Girlpool has extended their tour dates to include Alex G, Joyce Manor, Eskimeaux and Told Slant in their North American tour.
