MC Lars released a video for his single “Triforce,” from the album, The Zombie Dinosaur.
The video was filmed when he was still touring in the fall of last year alongside MC Chris and Spose, two other musicians who were on tour with him. The album was based off the Legend of Zelda game series and the single “Triforce” is about the source of power fond on Zelda’s shield. The triforce is the power of three fairies known to create the realm of Hyrule in the Zelda video games. “‘The Legend Of Zelda’ has always been a powerful game to me and is somewhat like touring: You have to strategically get to the next level (i.e. venue), keep your power up (i.e. money and health) and try not to die. I am lucky I’ve been able to do this for 12 years,” said MC Lars.
The video shows MC Lars going through to different places and enjoying his music, singing his music, and just being a musician while also going in and out of transitions that most people go through: love, questioning themselves, and even hoping for a more positive future. We don’t usually check in on ourselves every now and then because we are too busy finishing the nest teats and moving on to the next thing.
MC Lars will tour this fall to promote his new album along side Koo Koo Kanga Roo. The tickets will be on sale soon and the album will come out this November.
