Indie pop band Pure Bathing Culture has released a new edgy music video for their track “Pray For Rain” off their new album. Hailing from Portland, Oregon – Pure Bathing Culture has a great indie pop sound that is always tinged with different sounds they’re experimenting with. “Pray For Rain” gives some deep soulful vibes as a track, really attacking you at the heartstrings with such smooth melodies.
Pure Bathing Culture recently announced the new album also titled Pray For Rain for release in October. This album is to be followed by a tour in order to promote the new material.
The “Pray For Rain” music video uses the elements of colour in a very artistic way in order to make it an aesthetically fantastic accompaniment to the track. Dark reds, purples, blacks and more make the entire video very mysterious, bringing along some enigmatic vibes that the track puts out as well. The entire video seems to move along with the track “Pray For Rain” following a gentleman into a club. However, a great role reversal happens in this video that you’ll definitely have to see for yourself. It’ll bring a smile to your face and maybe even encourage you to try out some of those dance moves you were second guessing last time you were out.
According to Paste Magazine, the video for “Pray For Rain” was directed by Greg Hardes and Jacob Proud. It’s definitely one you should check out, especially with Pure Bathing Culture about to release a new album that is sure to be chock full of eclectic fun material.
