The Invisible has released a new single “Easy Now” from their album. The single is part of the recording sessions the group has been doing alongside with some contributions by Floating Points.
The Invisible will also be performing in part with Floating Points live at the Dimensions Festival Opening Concert broadcast on Boiler Room in support of Floating Points debut album Elaenia.
Their new album will be the sequel to the 2012’s Rispah. Until then, the group has been busy with contributing and recording alongside other bands including Grace Jones, Jessie Ware, Lianne La Havas, Adele, Lana Del Rey, Polar Bear, and Petite Noir (Little Black). Dave Okumu from The Invisible says a quote from George Clinton, “funk is anything you need it to be to save your life.” The upbeat, workout funk that can be heard throughout the single is a catchy tune that could almost make anyone pull out the workout clothes and go nuts.
