The musician who sang the famous single for the fiftieth anniversary Bond film, Skyfall, is releasing a new album this November. The singer tweeted a hint on a new album in the works with the quote, “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year.”
UPDATE: Adele’s 25 album will be released on November 20. She has also premiered a new music video for the album track “Hello.”
Adele is returning after a four year absence from the music scene. The new album is titled, 25, which is also the same age as the singer. It follows her album, 21, which earned Adele a Grammy for Album of the Year. Adele’s new album will feature some contributions by producers Danger Mouse and Max Martin, as well as Tobias Jesso Jr. The co-producer for “Rumor Has It” that was featured on the 21 album,Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, will also write and contribute to the new album, 25.
One of Adele’s previous album covers a live performance she did in 2011. Adele Live at the Royal Albert Hall was nominated for World’s Best Album.
Although there are hopes that a new album will be released, Adele’s agency stated last year that due to financial problems, there might not be new release by the musician because the agency does not expect a great turnout of record sales or profit from this rumored upcoming project.
