Matoma is a Norwegian DJ and producer who is quickly making a name for himself here in the states. And this fall, he’ll be bringing his unique sound to the US for a country-wide tour that will kick off at the beginning of October. Matoma will make his way to Philly on November 4th with a scheduled performance at Union Transfer. He’s bringing along Bryce Vine, PRince Fox, and Boehm to round out the show.
The young producer recently sat down with Billboard, telling them that “this has been the craziest year of [his] life.” He’s perhaps best known for his hit remix of Biggie’s “Old Thing Back,” which was released in the summer of 2014. It made it’s way to number 1 on hypem, expanding his appeal and helping to build momentum for the 24-year old. And now he’s the featured producer on Jason Derulo’s track “Try Me,” bringing yet a whole new fan-base his way.
The appropriately titled “Living The Dream” tour will surely be a night of fantastic music from both Matoma himself and his slew of special guests. His unique tropical sound will have crowds dancing the night away. You’ll absolutely want to grab your tickets for this one ASAP.
