Taylor Swift’s 1989 Tour BFF parade continues: last night, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the performer was joined onstage by Beck and St. Vincent.
Headline Planet reported that the artists came together to perform a rendition of Beck’s “Dreams.” The Staples Center tweeted out a photo and video clip of Swift’s special guests:
Swift also tweeted a photo with the caption, “Getting to play ‘Dreams’ with @Beck and @st_vincent is something I’ll remember forever. I can’t even express it.”
Beck most recently made news when he played secret show in London, covering Price and The Rolling Stones, while St. Vincent performed “Everyone You Know Will Go Away” with Contemporary Color in June. She tweeted about performing with Swift and Beck after the show last night:
Each night since Swift kicked off her 1989 tour in May, fans in different cities have been surprised by a number of special guests, including: Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Serena Williams, The Weeknd, Nick Jonas, Lorde, Jason Derulo, Fetty Wap, Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, to name a few (see a comprehensive list here). The most recent guest, who also appeared onstage with Swift at the Staples Center’s fourth 1989 show last night, was John Legend.
1989, one of the only platinum albums of last year, is certainly living up to its achievements and the concerts from this tour are proof: as of just earlier this month, tickets have already pulled in $86 million in sales for the superstar. Future dates are lined up through December throughout the rest of U.S., Malaysia, China and Australia.
