British art-rock band Django Django have released a new music video for their song “Pause Repeat.”
“Pause Repeat” can be found on the band’s sophomore studio album, Born Under Saturn, alongside other popular singles like “First Light,” “Reflections,” and “Shake & Tremble.”
The video, created by Django Django bassist Jimmy Nixon and director Dan Brereton, is a collection of cell phone videos of various objects, including coffee, fruits, sports, and the outdoors. The video’s bright and playful imagery matches the attitude of “Pause Repeat” perfectly.
Beyond its visuals, the video is also unique because of Dixon and Brereton’s filming techniques. Filmed with stop animation, the video consistently stays interesting and unpredictable for the viewer.
