British metal band Bring Me the Horizon have released their new song “True Friends,” which can be heard on their upcoming album, That’s the Spirit.
“True Friends” is the third single to be released off the band’s new album, following their hits “Throne” and “Happy Song.”
True to the band’s usual sound, “True Friends” supplies BMTH fans with their beloved dose of vocalist Oli Sykes’s screams.
In the new song, Sykes sings about friendship, betrayal, and karma over the sound of strong guitar riffs and some melodic string instruments. The chorus is sung in the style of gang vocals, with the band chanting, “True friends stab you in the front.”
I wouldn’t hold my breath if I was you / ‘Cause I’ll forget, but I’ll never forgive you / Don’t you know, don’t you know? / True friends stab you in the front.
You can listen to the song by watching the band’s lyric video below.
