Paul Barker, also referred to as Hermes Pan, is the former bassist of the industrial band Ministry from 1986-2004. Prior to Ministry he had also provided bass for The Blackouts alongside future Ministry drummer Bill Rieflin, and his brother Roland Barker who played the keyboard/saxophone.
Paul Barker has virtually been MIA for nearly 10 years. He left his band of 18 years, Ministry, in 2004. Barker reportedly left for personal reasons. Since his split from the band he became one of the founders of Malekko Heavy Industry Corporation which is a manufacturer of synthesizer modules and guitar effect pedals. The company is based in Portland, Oregon and they produce products made in the USA such as the EKKO 616, B:ASSISTER, DIABOLIK and many others. Barker runs the company alongside Josh Holley.
