Just a few days before hitting the inaugural Landmark Festival in DC, Wale and Lion Babe will take over the stage right here in Philly with a scheduled performance at the Electric Factory. The show will also feature support from Phony Ppl. It goes down September 24th, and tickets are on sale now.
The Washington DC bred MC is out supporting his newest release, and fourth studio album, The Album About Nothing. The album was released on March 31st of this year via Maybach Music Group and Atlantic Records. It features some high-profile featured guests, like J. Cole and Usher and is the continuation of Wale’s much-loved Seinfeld-themed mixtapes.
The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured a strong prescenece from the man who inspired it all, Jerry Seinfeld. The pair was even featured on the cover of Complex magazine. You can take a listen for yourself this September when Wale hits the stage at the Electric Factory!
