Berlin natives Kadavar will be performing at the El Rey Theatre on October 25 in support of its latest album Berlin, to be released August 21. The band consists of Christoph Lindemann on vocals and guitar, Simon Bouteloup on bass, and Christoph Bartelt on drums. They have been around since 2010 and are known for their stoner rock and occult themes.
The band is straight out of 1972, bringing in the timeless vinyl days and metal dream nights. Their broody blues are reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. The band released their eponymous, Teepee Records-issued debut in 2012 and inked a deal with Nuclear Blast the following year, home of like-minded acts Witchcraft and Graveyard.
