Canadian R&B singer-songwriter Tamia will be performing at the Club Nokia on September 24 to promote her latest album release Love Life, which came out in June this year. Tamia is the wife of retired NBA star Grant Hill and best known for her singles “Stranger in My House, “Me” and “Beautiful Surprise.”
Tamia released her self-titled debut album in the spring of 1998 getting an early start in the music industry, singing on “You Put a Move on My Heart,” the first single from Quincy Jones’ 1994 hit album Q’s Jook Joint, when she was only a teenager. That paved the way for the release of her debut album in 1998.
Tamia has released six albums to date. Her new album was released on Def Jam Recordings, marking her first major label release since More in 2004. Love Life has charted at #2 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard). Her first four albums have been certified Gold by the RIAA. Be sure to check out Tamia at Club Nokia in September.
