South African rock band, Civil Twilight, are headed out on a fall headlining tour of the US in support of their newest release. The 4-piece will kick off their fall tour in Austin this September, and eventually make their way to Philly for a performance at Union Transfer on November 12th. In the meantime, they’ll finishing up a slew of summer dates that see them touring with the likes of Lord Huron, Delta Rae, JD McPherson and more.
Story of an Immigrant is the band’s 3rd studio album. It was released last month via Wind-up Records. It was met with immediate success, debuting at #1 on both Billboard’s Heatseaker and New Alternative charts.
This January, Civil Twilight performed a show at Boot & Saddle with openers Knox Hamilton. They also were featured at the July Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party along with Nate Ruess, MS MR, and Philly favorites The War on Drugs.
