Gardens & Villa have a new song titled “Everybody”, off their new album Music For Dogs. The native California band have a great mellow sound with quirky artistic music videos that overall emphasize their indie rock style. Gardens & Villa played in Coachella in 2012, as well as recently announced their album Music For Dogs set for release in August 2015.
Not only have they announced their album, but they also released a trippy yet incredible music video for the track “Fixations” off the new album. You can check this out here! They did a great job of poking fun at modern society however emphasizing their participation in it.
With Gardens & Villa’s new track “Everybody”, Chris Lynch said the following:
“’Everybody’ is a song inspired by our modern love lives: technology fueled jealousy, lust, vanity, voyeurism, and network personas, topped off with a personal curiosity and willingness to participate in what often resembles science fiction.”
Not only is it relatable, it’s a fantastic track. Gardens & Villa did a great job of incorporating their smooth mellow sound into a fun track that fans of all genres can appreciate, whether it be for the music or the message. It will definitely connect with a huge array of audiences – something Gardens & Villa seem to do very well in their creation of new material.
Between genuinely quirky music videos to tracks that make you think and contemplate modern romance, Gardens & Villa have done a heck of a job with their new material. Their sound really makes it though: catchy chords and great rhythms will have you nodding along as you listen to their new track “Everybody”.
