British electronic music duo The Chemical Brothers have released a new song. This new track – entitled “Wo Ha” – is available as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of Born in the Echoes.
Born in the Echoes is the duo’s first studio album, since they released Further in 2010. This latest Chemical Brothers’ album was released earlier in July, and featured guest appearances by St. Vincent and Beck, amongst many others. And, the electronic duo went on to put out a music video for “Go,” “buoyant synth-happy” single that featured A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip.
Unlike “Go,” “Wo Ha” finds the duo slowing their sound down over the course of this instrumental track. It still features an array of synthesized sounds and catchy percussive beats, and the only vocal passage is a male voice saying – or maybe that should be sighing – “Wo Ha.”
Check it out, below.
The British duo will headline on Saturday August 1 at the Hard Summer Music Festival in Southern California. Then, they will appear at the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands this August, before returning to the States to play in New York City’s Randall’s Island Park, during Electric Zoo: Transformed, which takes place from the 4th-6th of September 2015.
