Grammy-nominated R&B singer The Weeknd has premiered the music video for his newest hit single, “Can’t Feel My Face,” exclusively on Apple Music Connect.

The video, directed by Grant Singer, features The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, singing the tune on stage to a live audience in a small club setting. Tesfaye receives various reactions from the audience, some filled with intrigue, some filled with anger, but majorly filled with boredom.

As the performance progresses, the audience begins to throw various objects on stage. When a man throws a lighter on stage, Tesfaye’s performance begins to blaze – figuratively, and literally.

The audience comes to life as Tesfaye continues to perform while on fire, closing out the video by melting both himself and the screen, making not being able to feel your face seem like reality.

“Can’t Feel My Face” has recently debuted within the Top 5 in over 33 countries, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others. The track is one of four recently released tracks that have been certified platinum; the others include “The Hills,” “Often,” and “Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey).”

The Weeknd has made Billboard history as “Can’t Feel My Face,” “The Hills,” and “Earned It,” hit #1, #2, and #3, respectively on the Billboard chart for Hot R&B Songs.

“Can’t Feel My Face,” written by The Weeknd himself and co-produced by Max Martin, will be featured on his upcoming third full-length album, Beauty Behind the Madness. The album is set to release on Aug. 28.

You can catch The Weeknd live in August at California’s Hard Summer Music Festival and in September at New York’s Budweiser Made in America Festival.
