CHVRCHES @ Electric Factory 10/1

Fans of Scottish synth-pop trio, CHVRCHES, have eagerly been awaiting news of a new album. The wait is finally over, with the group announcing the follow up to the massively successful, The Bones of What You Believe. Their next release, Every Open Eye, is due out September 25th, and they’ve already provided us with the first taste from that upcoming album. Take a listen to “Leave a Trace” below.

In addition to news of the new release, CHVRCHES also bring news of a fall tour, which will kick off in New York on September 29th. You can catch Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty two days later when they bring their tour to the Electric Factory on October 1st. Tickets for that go on sale this Friday, July 24th, so be sure to scoop yours before it’s too late.

The band’s debut studio album, The Bones of What You Believe, dropped in September of 2013, nearly two years ago. With hit tracks like “The Mother We Share,” and “Recover,” the album was met with much success. But fans have been clamoring for new music. And now with a tracklist and a release date, they’ll no doubt be counting down the days until the release and subsequent tour. Grab your tickets now and see CHVRCHES perform that new material right here in Philly this October!
