Lianne La Havas will embark on an upcoming fall tour in support of her upcoming album release. La Havas will make her way to Philly this September, with a performance at Union Transfer on the 25th. If going to the show wasn’t incentive enough, it should also be noted that every ticket purchased online also comes with a digital copy of her album.
The sophomore 10-track album, Blood, will be released in just a few weeks on July 31st. Her fall tour dates kick off on September 23rd, just two days before La Havas takes the stage at Union Transfer. Blood was written after a trip La Havas took with her mother to Jamaica, drawing inspiration from her reconnection to her Greek and Jamaican heritage. She released the first single, “Unstoppable” back in April, with a video follow up in May.
La Havas’s sophomore release was her follow up to 2012’s Is Your Love Enough?, which peaked at number 4 on the UK Chart. That same year, La Havas was also nominated for a Mercury Prize. She has performed alongside Prince, Alt-J, and Alicia Keys. You can catch La Havas this September at Union Transfer. In addition to the general admission ticket option, there is also a special VIP package. The package includes VIP early entry, the digital copy of the album, an autographed (limited print, numbered) tour poster, as well as an exclusive VIP merch item and commemorative laminate.
